Board changes
The Board met yesterday and is pleased to announce that David Hunter is the new Club President and that Jim Hunter and Sandra McIntosh have joined the Board. With Phil Beaton having also been elected at December’s AGM, the Board is now up to its full complement of 11 Trustees.
New Wednesday afternoon tournament
To reflect the desire expressed by the membership at the AGM for daytime bridge, a new Wednesday afternoon tournament will commence from next week (17th January). It will comprise 18/21 boards, with Master Points being awarded, and will start at 1:30 pm with an intended finish time of 4.30pm. Entry will be by the normal sign up system and will include a “looking for a partner” facility. The existing Wednesday evening relaxed session for beginners/novices will also continue to be run.
