Tournaments will run as normal in the week beginning 18th December. The schedule for the following 2 weeks is:
Mondays – there will be no tournaments on 25th Dec or 1st Jan
Tuesdays – there will be an online BBO tournament on 26th December but not on 2nd January
Wednesdays – the “Relaxed for Novice players” session will run on 27th Dec and 3rd January. The Open tournament will not run on those dates and due to lack of demand is being discontinued in 2024 (see below)
Thursdays – The Relaxed afternoon session will run on 28th December and 4th January
The Board will be meeting in January to discuss the provision of Wednesday tournaments and reflecting the desire expressed by the membership at the recent AGM for daytime bridge, will be actively considering the possibility of starting a Wednesday afternoon tournament. A communication will be issued in due course.
