WHATS INVOLVED?
The course will be presented by Matthew Robb, SBU Director and serves as an introduction to Tournament Directing for club players. The course will cover:
- Preparing for and running F2F tournaments, including movements, scoring, and how to handle slow play and poor behaviour at the table
- An introduction to the Laws of Contract Bridge, covering common situations such as leads out of turn, insufficient bids, calls out of rotation, and revokes. It will also cover bidding box regulations and alerting procedures
- Advice on making rulings. A practical session that allows participants to practice what they have learned

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The course is free for club members; for non-members the cost is £15/head, to include buffet lunch and other refreshments.
