Upcoming National SBU Events

There are several upcoming National events that you might consider entering.

The Stirling Pairs on Saturday the 26th September at the Melville Bridge Club in Edinburgh and the Edwin Berry Swiss Teams on Sunday the 4th October at the Carlton Bridge Club also in Edinburgh. The Bridge Club will hold two events.
The Diamond Trophy for Senior Pairs is on Sunday the 11th October. This a simultaneous event. Players must be 60 or over on 1st September 2015.
The North District qualifying event for the National Teams Rayne Trophy is on Wednesday the 14th Ocober at 7 pm.
Details and entry forms for these two events are on the District notice board in the club.

Senior Pairs – Friday the 7th August

Dear Member,After a lapse of a couple of  years the North District will try  to resurrect the Senior Pairs if there is a demand. This year we will have it this coming Friday the 7th August in the Bridge Club at 7 pm.This open to any pairs over 60 years old. Entry will be £3.00. There is an entry sheet on the District notice board or reply to me if you would like to play. Apologies for the late notice. Computer problems.

Scrabble Course for Beginners

2015 World Youth Open Bridge Championships

newspaper-159877_1280The 4th World Youth Open Bridge Championships organised by the World Bridge Federation in cooperation with the Croatian Bridge Federation & Opatija Bridge Association will be held in Opatija, Croatia from 20th – 29th August.
