The results of the Pecten Pairs Competition held at Woodbank on Saturday 19 March can be viewed here.

Director’s Course

classHello Everyone,Would you consider developing your skills and helping out your clubs by learning to become a director?  The course will be run by the very popular trainer, Duncan Cursiter.

The course is free and you will be provided with a handbook of the laws beforehand. Also some questions to help you prepare.

Let me know if you are interested.  The course will take place from 10 o’clock to 4.30 at the Bridge Club.  Lunch will be provided.

Upcoming National SBU Events

There are several upcoming National events that you might consider entering.

The Stirling Pairs on Saturday the 26th September at the Melville Bridge Club in Edinburgh and the Edwin Berry Swiss Teams on Sunday the 4th October at the Carlton Bridge Club also in Edinburgh. The Bridge Club will hold two events.
The Diamond Trophy for Senior Pairs is on Sunday the 11th October. This a simultaneous event. Players must be 60 or over on 1st September 2015.
The North District qualifying event for the National Teams Rayne Trophy is on Wednesday the 14th Ocober at 7 pm.
Details and entry forms for these two events are on the District notice board in the club.
